We stayed here during the Fall of 2011 while my husband worked nearby. The staff is very friendly and helpful and there is someone on site at all times in case of emergency. The laundry/shower facilities are nice enough and they provide a small store and mail room. This park is hidden on the backside of a very steep hill in Marietta. They are currently going by the name Atlanta Marietta RV Resort park. You will likely need GPS or certainly a map to find it the first time. The short term slots are at the top of the hill and realatively flat therefore not too difficult to manuver into. However, the long term spots and "premium" slots are located further down the hill and will require a little more skill to manuver into. In my opinion the only benefit to the premium slots is that they are somewhat larger in terms of your open area around your parking spot than the regular or short term sites. The sites are all paved or concrete which is nice but I think if you were here during an ice storm which hopefully is unlikely that there might be an issue with being able to leave due to the steep hills both inside and outside the park. We travel with a 17 ft boat and they would not allow us to keep the boat in the park so my husband put it in storage nearby. We have noticed however that some people seem to be allowed to keep small work trailers at their sites. We travel with a dually truck and a small car and it was a snug fit to get them both into site 49 but we managed. We arrived just in time to catch the last of the fall color in Georgia and that was gorgeous I assure you. The park is heavily wooded and there is a lot of shade in the long term areas, not as much in the short term. The only problem with that is that means you have a lot of leaves dropping all over your car and your site during the fall, they do blow them off eventually but they can make a mess so if your here in the fall you might want your own rake for the long term sites, probably won't need it in the short term. We did enjoy our stay here and would stay here again if we are in the area.
